Police in Ugenya were forced to intercept and block angry resident’s from torching the house of area MP David Ochieng following his move from Azimio to Kenya Kwanza.

Investigations into the incident has been launched as police seek to arrest those behind the plans to torch the MP’s house.
The protests have however entered their second day as residents brought business to a standstill in Sega accusing the MP of betraying them.
Addressing the media, the residents noted that it was his personal choice to join DP Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza and not theirs. They further accused Hon. David Ochieng of campaigning under the name of Azimio Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga only to ditch the party and move to rivals coalition after clinching the seat.
