Police drugged and robbed Ksh 450k by two women

Two women are alleged to have robbed a police officer attached to Vigilance House Ksh 450,000.

The two are said to have robbed the police at gunpoint on August 11th before luring their victim into a club at Tom Mboya Street.

It was during at the club when the women promised the victim sex escaped before drugging him and making him reveal his ATM pin.

With the help of a third suspect who was a taxi driver, the suspects managed to clean the police’s bank account before leaving his body by the roadside in Kileleshwa.

Police arrest five suspects stealing bitumen

In other news, five suspects have been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The five were arrested on Thursday night in Murang’a County after they were found stealing from SS Mehta and Sons Ltd.

The detectives acted swiftly on a theft in progress report made by the company’s administrator.

It was then that the suspects were found in possession of over 2550 liters of bitumen parked in 13 drums.

“FIVE Suspects were last night arrested by #Detectives based in Kigumo, Murang’a County after they were found Stealing from S.S. MEHTA & SONS LTD Site, following a ‘Theft-in-Progress’ report by the Company Administrator.

Over 2550L of #Bitumen (Tar)parked in 13Drums were recovered” Said DCI.

The five have been identified as Samuel Mbugua, James Muthoka, Meshack Wafula, Moris Wambua and Simon Irungu.

One suspect who is a casual worker at the site managed to escape and is being sought by the detectives.

An Isuzu truck used in the theft was also seized.
