Today morning police engaged traders in running battles as they demonstrated for what is conflict between them and the city council of Nairobi.
The traders along Wakulima market closed blocked the road near Muthurwa bus terminus as they lit bonfires.
Motorists were forced to use alternative routes to reach the city centre as a huge traffic was caused by the demonstration.
