Police have launched investigations into the horrific attack of a woman in Ongata Rongai before making away with her valuables.
“The National Police Service has taken note of a cruel incident where a lady driver was waylaid and accosted by armed robbers in Ongata Rongai as she entered her compound at night The armed thugs, while brandishing an AK-47 rifle, physically assaulted the victim and vandalized her property.
The thugs stole valuable household items from her residence. While we strongly condemn this incident, we would like to assure the public that the National Police Service’ officers in Kajiado are working round the clock to bring the culprits to book. Our sympathies go out to the innocent lady, her family and friends.

The incident that was captured on CCTV camera showed a total of five thugs surround a woman as she entered her house at 2am in the morning.
They could then be seen talking with the lady locked inside her car before smashing her window and forcing her into the house.
Armed with an AK-47 and a pistol, the footage revealed how the thugs packed some of the variables inside the house as wo of them held the unidentified at gunpoint. All this time, the main gate was open.
According to reports by area residents, the thugs were from raiding another house in the neighbourhood. A police report was filled at 4am at Kandisi police station.
