Police in Wajir have killed two bandits believed to be part of a gang that ambushed a bus on Sunday making away with the passenger’s valuables.
“Police in Dabader, Wajir County yesterday morning shot and killed two bandits believed to be part of the gang that ambushed a bus on Sunday along Habaswein-Dadaab Road and made away with money and other valuables belonging to the passengers.” Said Thika Town Today.
A number of items including four AK-47 rifles, 316 rounds of ammunition, and two smoke jackets used by KDF soldiers were recovered from them.

“They also recovered four AK-47 rifles, 316 rounds of ammunition and 14 empty magazines used with the AK-47 rifles, three pouches, two smoke jackets used by the Kenya Defence Forces, a solar panel as well as five mobile phones.” Said Thika Town Today.
In other news, police in Meru are looking a for prison warder who left the station with a loaded gun to kill his wife who resides in Thika. The officer is reported to have complained about how his wife stole Ksh 900,000 loan he had taken from a bank.
“Police in Meru are looking for a prison warder based at Kangeta GK Prisons who allegedly sneaked out with a loaded G3 rifle with intent to kill his wife who lives in Thika.
He was heard saying that he would kill his wife for defrauding him a Sh 900,000 loan acquired from a bank.” Said Thika Town Today.
