A first team Premier League player has been arrested and under investigation in suspected child sex offence.
Even though the player remains unknown, media reports confirm that he has since been released on bail pending further investigation before he is cleared or convicted for the offence.

The statement comes at a time when Everton confirmed the same confirming that the player is from the club and even promising to corporate with authorities with investigations.
“Everton can confirm it has suspended a first-team player pending a police investigation. The club will continue to support the authorities with their inquiries and will not be making any further statement at this time.” Said Everton
The news has however shaken up a number of Everton players who looking forward to a life under Rafael Benitez who takes over from Carlo Ancelotti who rejoined Real Madrid.
Everton is also heading to Florida Cup where they will face Millonarios from Colombia before facing either Arsenal or Inter Milan.
