President Uhuru Kenyatta has encouraged the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) to intensify prosecution of high profile cases.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta has encouraged the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) to focus more on the successful prosecution of high profile cases especially those involving misuse of public resources.” said State House Kenya.

The Head of State was speaking as he said that by doing will the agency bring back the confidence to Kenyans and the investment they have put in.
In two years, the ODPP has been praised for its achievement and cooperation with other agencies to ensure success of its mandate
President Uhuru noted that a good system should not only deliver results but also provide employment and attract investors. He also encourage the office for employing young Kenyans
The DPP noted how they have employed young Kenyans in the last two years in addition to creating workshops to train them and enhance their commitment.
Haji noted how they have worked with other agencies and specialist on matters financial to prioritize corruption and enable recover of finances.
