Tanzania President Samia Suluhu was on Tuesday evening treated to a State banquet hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Tuesday evening hosted a State banquet in honour of President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania.” Said State House.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Uhuru assured the visitors that he will ensure that the country works closely with Tanzania to achieve full regional integration.

“During the State banquet, President Kenyatta assured his guest that Kenya will continue to work with Tanzania to achieve the vision of full regional integration held by East Africa’s founding fathers.” Said State House.
President Samia on her part promised that she will strive to maintain historical ties between Kenya and Tanzania especially in economic cooperation.
“On her part, President Suluhu Samia stressed that during her tenure, she will strive to strengthen historical ties that exist between the two countries especially in economic cooperation.” Said State House
The same evening, President Samia Suluhu joined Kenya Muslim Women for Iftar organized by the President and First Lady at State House, Nairobi.
“President Suluhu Samia was on Tuesday evening joined by a cross-section of Kenyan Muslim women for Iftar at State House, Nairobi ahead of a State Banquet hosted in her honour by President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.” Said State House
