Tanzania President Samia Suluhu is expected in the country on Tuesday for a two day State visit as confirmed by State House Spokesperson Kanza Dena.
The President will be received by his Kenyan counterpart in Nairobi with the details of the visit set to be disclosed soon by State House.
“Her Excellency Suluhu Samia, President of the United Republic of Tanzania will arrive in the country on Tuesday, 4th May 2021 for a two-day State Visit to the Republic of Kenya.

President Uhuru Kenyatta will receive his Tanzania counterpart at State House, Nairobi on the same day. Other details of Her Excellency’s visit will be shared in due course.” Said Kanza Dena.
On April 11th, President Samia Suluhu made his first trip outside Tanzania meeting up with President Yoweri Museveni in Uganda.
The one day State visit was to complete the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) agreement already began by his successor former President Magufuli.
“This is the first official visit to Uganda by H.E Suluhu Samia since she assumed the Office of President of the United Republic of Tanzania. During the visit the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), Tripartite Project Agreement will be concluded” Said Uganda Media Centre.
Samia has deferred with her successor on the handling of COVID-19 in the country confirming that a special board will be formed to look into the virus that has claimed millions of lives across the globe.
