It is a relief for Kenyans after President Uhuru Kenyatta halted the new National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) changes.
The orders will also put a stop to the new packages that were to come into effect as announced by the organization.
The new changes in NHIF were to allow one spouse and a total of five children only.

In addition to that, for one to benefit from the scheme they will be required to wait for a period of three months, an equivalent of 90 days.
Kenyans were angered by the changes as COTU rejected it saying they would cause pain to the Wananchi.
A section of leaders were also against it saying they will not see the light of day once passed through the parliament.
