President Uhuru in Mombasa to inspect projects

President Uhuru Kenyatta is currently in Mombasa where he inspecting National Government project at the Coastal city.

In Mombasa he was received by Governor Ali Hassan Joho who together inspected the 1.9 billion floating bridge under construction at the Likoni crossing.

The bridge is expected to ease traffic across the channel with one of its amazing features includes a movable steel bridge to allow ship to move across.

Speaking to the Mombasa Governor, the Head of State is reported to have urged him encourage the construction of small business structures to take advantage of the traffic brought about by the bridge.

Next on his tour was the Liwatoni fishing complex which is under construction to become a full fishing production centre.

President Uhuru Kenyatta then toured the Kipevu Oil Terminus that is currently being expanded at a cost of Ksh 40 billion.

At the port he was received by Transport CS James Macharia who together inspected the project expected to boost importation and exportation of LPG gas.

In his final tour of Mombasa he visited the Kenya Navy base across the Likoni channel where he inspected the expansion of a shipyard at the base.
