President Uhuru Kenyatta has joined the world to mourn Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on Thursday at her Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
In his message of condolence to His Majesty King Charles III, the Royal Family, Prime Minister Liz Truss, and the UK people, the Head of State termed the late Queen a global icon of selfless service to humanity.

In his message of condolence and comfort to His Majesty King Charles III, the Royal Family, Prime Minister Liz Truss, and the British people, President Kenyatta mourned the 96-year-old monarch as a towering global icon of selfless service to humanity.” said State House.

Born in 1926, the Queen was the longest serving member of the Royal Family having ruled the country for 70 years and keeping off Britain from modern politics.
