President Uhuru Kenyatta awards two Cabinet Secretaries

President Uhuru Kenyatta has awarded two Cabinet Secretaries the highest state award due to the outstanding work to the country.

The two Cabinet Secretaries were Ukur Yattani of Treasury and Farida Karoney of Lands who was award the Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart, EGH.

Ukur Yattani found himself in the heart of the President since his appointment as the acting Treasury CS following the arrest of Henry Rotich.

Yattani who also serves as Labour CS joined Attorney General Paul Kihara to receive the prestigious award.

Kenyan male marathon holder Eliud Kipchoge was also awarded by the President in Mombasa following his historic 1:59 challenge run in Vienna.

Mary Keitany who is a four time New York marathon champion was awarded by the President the Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya, OGW.

Global Best Teacher Peter Tabichi was also recognized by President Uhuru as he was awarded the Moran of the Burning Spear, MBS.
