President Uhuru Kenyatta to preside a launch in Kisumu

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Excellency Raila Odinga will jointly preside over the launch of Universal Health Coverage in Kisumu.

The launch which will be on August 9th 2018, will be hosted by Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o .

Kisumu County has been chosen to pilot the enrollment of Universal Health Coverage which is in line with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s big four agenda.

Breaking the news to the public was Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr. Ochieng Owili who was speaking at Acacia Premier representing the Governor during UHC meeting in preparation for the grand launch.

Present at the meeting was County Minister for Health Rosemary Obara, different health shareholder s and health officers.

County Minister of Health Rosemary Obara on her part said that her ministry is ready for this exercise and working on an effective communication, mobilization and enrollment strategy for effective demand creation.
