President Uhuru rules out BBI bill rumors says will retire

President Uhuru Kenyatta has ruled out rumors that BBI bill is meant to create a position for him come 2022.

He continued by insisting that he will retire come 2022 that is at the end of his term as stipulated by the constitution.

The comments by President Uhuru Kenyatta follows ongoing rumors that the handshake and BBI bill is meant to benefit him and Hon. Raila Odinga.

The president was speaking during the inaugural opening of the second phase of the SGR project.

He said a country will not be able to attract investors if it does not invest in modern infrastructure.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially inaugurated the Ngong SGR Station in Kajiado County.

Speaking during the ceremony, the President said Kenya won’t be able to attract investors without modern infrastructure.”
