President Uhuru Kenyatta has scrapped off work permit for Tanzania businesses that will operate in Kenya during the Kenya-Tanzania business forum meeting.
Addressing the business community both President assured them that they will remove all barriers limiting trade and investments between both countries.

The leaders reassured the business community of their commitment to the removal of all barriers limiting cross-border trade and investments.” Said State House.
Speaking at the event, President Uhuru challenged the private sector to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the agreements between the two countries including African Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA).
President Samia Suluhu confirmed the work being undertaken by her administration to ensure ease of doing business between Kenya and Tanzania as she welcomed Kenyans to invest in Tanzania.
“President Kenyatta challenged the region’s private sector to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the various multilateral instruments including the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to grow their investments.
On her part, President Suluhu Samia outlined the reforms being undertaken by her administration to enhance ease of doing business and welcomed Kenyan businesses to invest in Tanzania.” Said State House
