President Uhuru Kenyatta has on Saturday taken a sweep at his Deputy who has recently been attacking the government saying that he himself failed to deliver in his duties.
He continued by saying that the Deputy President has been criticizing the government and giving Kenyans empty promises that he will deliver if elected President come August 2022.
Speaking from Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi where he presided over the international Co-operative Day, the Head of State noted that his deputy was busy making noise instead of doing his duties.

“I am really saddened when I see some people ever complaining about the failures of the government. Someone who has been given a task to serve the country, instead of performing his role, he is just busy making noise here and there,” Said President Uhuru
Deputy President William Ruto has been pointing an accusing finger at the government for the ongoing inflation causing an increase in prices of basic commodities among other development projects that have stalled following the famous handshake between Hon. Raila Odinga and his boss.
He continued by revealing that he was told to step aside and his duties given to Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i accusing him of failing the president. Ruto revealed how willing he is to serve if called to action.
This is not the first time that President Uhuru Kenyatta has slammed his deputy as he has called on Kenyans to vote wisely as he backed Hon. Raila Odinga’s candidature.
