A primary school pupil in Kisii has been arrested as she attempted to poison her dad who had disapproved her love affair.
The young girl is reported to have been in a relationship with a secondary school pupil with their relationship relationship angering the girl’s father.

People within the village confirmed to the media that the level of their infatuation angered the girl’s old man that he called it off, something that the girl could not hear none of it.
Angered by the father’s stand, the primary school student prepared porridge for his father, laced it with poison attempting to end his life.
Fortunately she was caught in the act before she was taken in at Kegati police station together with his boyfriend.
Speaking to the Star, Kisii County Police Commander Jebel Munene confirmed that the two will be arraigned in court on Monday.
