Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe can now afford a smile after being allowed access to her house from Tuesday.
However Maribe’s phone will still remain as an exhibit and will be produced in court.
Prosecutor Catherine Mwaniki said that in regard to her car they are still waiting for a report from the government chemist to determine whether it should be used as an exhibit or not.
The news comes barely an hour after the journalist made an application to the court saying that she has been allowed to access her house after her release.
In her complains, she said that at some instances she had to borrow a mobile phone.
Jacque Maribe was arrested in September alongside her fiancé Joseph Irungu for the murder of business woman Monica Kimani.
The court released her a month later after a successful bail application.
She was termed as non-flight risk and therefore granted a 2 million bail by Justice James Wakiaga.
Her fiancé was however denied bail after being termed a flight risk following his constant flights to the Middle East.
This month, Jowie made an application to the Judicial Service Commission requesting Justice James Wakiaga to save himself from the case.
The application follows the Judge last rulling where he termed Jowie as a “woman eater.”
According to the defendant, the Judge already has made a conclusion about his case and he won’t get a fair trial under the judge.
