PSG midfielder Rabiot terms Tottenham as below him

Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder Adrien Rabiot has been quoted terming Tottenham as club below him.

The 23-year-old was quoted by ESPN as he said that he has no interest in joining the premier league club as he believes they are below him.

The French international joined the French giants first team in 2012 winning 16 major honors including four Ligue 1 tittles and a treble in 2015-2016.

Adrien Rabiot’s words did not however sink well with most football lovers as they have heavily criticized him.

A section of the football fans has pointed out his below par performance in recent games and that it keeps going way below.” This guy keeps getting worse and worse” said a follower on Twitter.

On the other hand, others supported his words saying that he currently plays for a club better than Tottenham. They proceeded to give a record of his impressive play for Paris Saint-Germain.

“Dumb kid. But…completes nearly 90% of passes. Wins 70% of aerial challenges & averages 3 key tackles/game in CM. Would be >England vs. Spain. As for Spurs, he has won 4 Ligue 1 titles & a treble. He wants to go w/ proven trophy winners with a perm. CL stamp. Which ain’t Spurs.” Said a follower on Twitter.

Tottenham currently hold position 3 with 45 points, nine points behind league leaders Liverpool and two points behind second placed Manchester City.

In the 2018-2019 season, Tottenham have only lost five times with the biggest surprise defeat coming from Wolverhampton over the weekend going down three goals to one.
