Former Prime Minister has on Friday challenged DP William Ruto over his Sunday donations in the country.

Speaking during an interview at Radio Citizen the ODM leader mentioned how some leaders have been donating every Sunday in churches across the country.

He continued by saying that they should now use the money to help the poor instead on sleeping and sitting at their homes waiting for the pandemic to end.

Glady Shollei admits Raila won 2007 elections

Hon. Raila Odinga was speaking a day after he donated food worth Ksh 15 million through the help of his friends.

He noted that he will again make such donations through his friends and help poor Kenyans living in slums.

DP William Ruto is not new to such criticism as several other leaders including Musalia Mudavadi questioning the source of his donations.

Giving examples, Musalia compared Safaricom as one of the richest companies in Kenya with the millions issued out by the DP every Sunday.

In response to the doubts, DP Ruto committed to stay by the course saying he is investing wisely through churches.
