Azimio One Kenya Alliance Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has called on Kenya Revenue (KRA) to give Keroche Breweries more time to settle the unpaid taxes.
Raila who was speaking with businesspeople in Murang’a said the move by KRA had damaging effect to not only the investor but also to employees who depend on the job for their daily bread.

The former Prime Minister continued by saying that closing a company dents the image of the country and can scare away investors in the country who are needed for development purposes.
Entrepreneurs in the country have been promised lower cost in applying licenses and reduced number of licenses in the country by harmonizing them.
“We will reduce the number of licenses required to operate businesses by harmonizing many of the licenses and reducing the cost of applying for them, and cutting the influence of cartels.” Said Hon. Raila Odinga
