Raila Odinga meets Nairobi business community

On Friday opposition chief Raila Odinga held a two hours closed door meeting with the Gema Business Community.H.E Raila Odinga was accompanied with Nasa strategist David Ndii,Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang and Nyando MP Jared Okelo.

 When they came from the meeting,Raila Odinga declined to address the journalist but instead directed the association’s officials and MP’s to address the press.

Speaking to the press,the business community chairman Mr Winfred Kamau said that their meeting with Raila Odinga marks the end to the differences they had with him and they will now work together to unite Kenyans.

Ruaraka Mp Mr Tj Kajwang rubbished claims the the meeting was done in preparation of a referendum and 2022 elections.He went further to explain that the meeting was meant to extend the handshake between Raila and Uhuru to the grassroots.

Nyando Mp Mr Jared Okello said that other officials who were absent during the meeting are aware of the details discussed and that the meeting marks the first discussion with the community before any details are disclosed.

 Nasa strategist David Ndii did not however speak during the briefing.
