Raila Odinga mourns Sunday Nation columnist Philip Ochieng

ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga has mourned the death of Sunday Nation columnist Philip Ochieng who passed away on Tuesday due to Pneumonia complications.

Taking on social media, the Former Prime Minister termed the columnist as a legend with unmatched prowess in English.

He continued by noting how the late Philip Ochieng held conversation with the most powerful and moved the society to action.

The former Prime Minister praised the late Philip as a man who gave a voice to the voiceles as he wished his family and friends strength during these difficult time.

“Kenya has lost in the passing of Philip Ochieng, a veteran journalist and legendary columnist with an unmatched prowess of the English language. Through the power of the pen, Philip spoke to the most powerful and moved the society into action.

Philip penned his thoughts and gave a voice to the voiceless. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, the Nation Media Grp and the media fraternity. May He Rest In Peace.” Said ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.
