COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli has hinted that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will hand over power to Martha Karua if elected President.
Atwoli was speaking as he warned UDA party leader and Deputy President William Ruto against chest thumping during his rallies across the country.
He however urged the Deputy President to humble himself and by doing so he might get the top seat.
Atwoli has been open about fear for DP William Ruto’s Presidency terming the UDA party leader as an angry politician who will shut down competitor’s business and destroy the gains made by other leaders.
Ruto has also called out the COTU Secretary-General in several occasions accusing him of interfering with government plans that will benefit Kenyans. He also termed threats from Atwoli as serious statements especially when made before the President during important events.
Leaders allied with ODM party leader Raila Odinga have also warned Kenyans against electing DP William Ruto terming him a corrupt leader who will steal important assets in the country.
