Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has undergone a coronavirus test.

Tuju underwent testing following his U.K trip to receive treatment.

In a statement, the Jubilee boss thanked God for testing negative even though he had exercised social distancing following his arrival.

“I praise God for taking care of me when I was in hospital in the UK where the virus has been more endemic.

Even though it is more than 20 days since I got back from the UK, and besides the fact that I did not exhibit any symptoms associated with the Coronavirus, it was to be imperative that I go through this test.

I have been exercising social distancing & all the other behavioral practices as prescribed by the Ministry of Health, but in the face of media reports and narratives on social media.

It has been a matter of public interest that I voluntarily submit myself to be tested and thankfully the results are negative.

That should clear the air and bring closure to the concerns and anxiety associated with my stay in the UK or encounters with other Kenyans since my return to Kenya” the SG said in conclusion.”

at the moment Tuju is undergoing physiotherapy conducted by doctors.

“The SG continues to be positive and in his usual high spirits. He is sticking to a supervised exercise regime and physiotherapy sessions conducted by professionals from the Karen hospital.” Said Jubilee Party.
