Detectives tasked with the case are reported to be planning to visit the U.S to conduct investigations.

On Thursday, the former CS was arrested in a fake 39 billion tender involving the sale of military equipment.

In what started as a simple email, led to several meetings between the Echesa and the investors.

To prove their commitment into the deal, the investors paid Ksh 11.5 million which the former CS allegedly pocketed.

The office of the Deputy President was brought up as the meeting point and where the meetings have been conducted.

The signature of CS Amina Mohammed was used in the documents found.

It was during their last meeting when the investors noticed something was wrong when they were unable to meet the DP as promised.

A man who was introduced to them as military personnel was in the meeting but in a suit, something that raised eyebrows.

Detectives are currently undertaking a forensic investigation into the signature of CS Amina Mohammed as used in the documents.
