Real Madrid vs Ajax, Real Madrid knocked out of the Champions League

European giants Real Madrid were knocked out of the Champions League by Ajax at the Bernabeu following a humiliating 4-1 defeat.

Ajax come into the match trailing 2-1 from the first leg round but came on top in the 18th minute through forwards Hakim Ziyech and David Neres.

Real Madrid defender was booked for tripping as the Spanish giants made two changes just before halftime sending out Lucas and Junior Vinicius and in was Bale and Asensio.

In the second half things got worse for Real Madrid when the provider of the first two goals Tadic added a third one for Ajax in the 62nd minute.

Substitute Asensio brought back some hope for Real Madrid scoring one in the 70th minute but Ajax quickly responded two minutes later through Schone.

Things were heated up at Real Madrid camp as they substituted defender Casemiro and in they brought Valverde.

Nacho was sent off in the extra time after receiving two consecutive yellow cards in the match.

In other results, Tottenham sent Dortmund packing through Harry Kane lone goal in the 49th minute.

Tottenham won with an aggregate 4-0 and with the second win having beaten the Bundesliga giants 3-0 in the first round.
