Real Madrid vs Osasuna: Zidane tops La Liga table

Real Madrid vs Osasuna match saw the host go to the top of the table on Wednesday after thrashing Osasuna at home.

Vinicius Junior opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the fourth minute before Silva De Goes sealed the vital three points.

It was the fourth win for Zidane having drawn in only three games since the start of the league before the Real Madrid vs Osasuna clash.

Vinicius curled the ball into the far right corner beating Osasuna goalkeeper. He, however, broke down into tears of joy.

De Goes scored in the second half beating the offside trap before curving the ball past the body of the goalkeeper.

The win ensures Real have a four-point lead up against their El Clasico opponents Barcelona who have had a rough start.

Other matches of the night saw Getafe beat Valencia on home soil three goals to nil sending them to position ten with seven points.

Valencia, on the other hand, lies position thirteen with six points out of six games played so far.

Bottom placed Leganes held Athletico Madrid to a one-one draw forcing them to settle at the third position with twelve points.
