Reggae did not stop,it went on halftime, says Raila Odinga

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has today on Thursday hit back at his political critics telling them that the BBI is still on course and will be unveiled soon.

Speaking from Orange House, Hon. Raila Odinga said that Reggae did not stop,it went on half time and it will be back and no one will stop it.

He continued by saying that BBI will improve a number of things including governance in the country.

The ODM party leader down played allegations that referendum will cost taxpayers alot of money when the economy is already shaky at the moment.

He gave an example of developed countries saying that it will cost not more than Ksh 2 billion which the country can afford.

Hon. Raila even called on IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati that he will teach him and his team on how to cut the expenses and make it cheap.

Word moving around had it that the BBI agenda had dried up following the COVID-19 pandemic that prohibited public gatherings.

Back at Chungwa House, Hon. Raila Odinga was overseeing the swearing in of new members of the National Election Board and National Disciplinary Board.

“Welcomed the new members of The ODM party’s National Elections Board and the National Disciplinary Committee, who were sworn into office at Chungwa House today. I wish them well as they embark on their duties as we continue the process of streamlining and improving the party.” Said Hon. Raila Odinga
