Rev. Peter Kariuki of PCEA laid to rest in Kiambu County

The late Secretary-General of PCEA Rev. Peter Kariuki has been laid to rest on Thursday in Thogoto, Kiambu County.

Present during the burial ceremony was Deputy President William Ruto who quoted the Bible 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me…” ~ 2 Timothy 4:7-8.” Said DP William Ruto.

Rev. Peter Kariuki passed away on 26th July as President Uhuru broke the sad news through the official State House communication social media handle.

In his speech, the President sent his deepest condolences to the family, friend and PCEA church as whole.

He remembered the late Secretary-General as one who ensured the church progressed in terms of development during his time in charge.
