Ronaldinho arrested in Paraguay over fake papers

Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has been arrested in Paraguay over allegation of submitting fake papers.

The former Barcelona and AC Milan forward was arrested alongside his brother Roberto at popular resort shortly after their arrival.

Gaucho and his brother had been invited by a businessman in the country and were expected to hold several key events and competitions.

Euclides Acevedo a senior police boss dismissed the claims saying that he was not arrested on fake papers grounds but for a different reason.

He continued by saying that he was corporation fully with the police to provide as much information as required in the investigations.

This is not the first time that the former Brazilian forward has been linked to the same allegations.

Before arriving in Kenya during his tour, Gaucho was rumored to have been held in Brazil over fake documentations.

The allegations were cleared and was allowed to fly and landed in the country as planned.
