Deputy President William Ruto has on Sunday made it clear that under his leadership he will never embarrass his Deputy to his juniors.
The Deputy President who was speaking t NTV’s Joe Ageyo was speaking in reference to the ongoing bad blood between himself and President Uhuru Kenyatta citing embarrassment from the junior staff in the government.
When asked as to how he will handle a disagreement between himself and MP Rigathi Gachagua if elected, DP William Ruto ruled out any possibilities of such an outcome terming Gachgua as a solid leader.

He continued by terming the choice of Gachagua as his running mate the best decision even though he had four other best candidates for the position. DP Ruto confirmed discussions between himself and other stakeholders before making the decision ruling out previous reports of making a forced decision.
DP Ruto on upcoming election
Speaking on the coming elections, the Deputy President noted attempts by his rivals to derail the upcoming elections citing earlier allegations of voter transfer in some regions.
He however did no shed more light on how remarks by COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli could impact him as he begged to know the real threat if he made the remarks before the President.
Deputy President William Ruto called on Joe Ageyo to shift the interview to matters economy terming it as the main agenda affecting Kenyans at the moment and moving forward.
