President William Ruto has received a report from the tribunal he had appointed to inquire into the conduct of Justice Said Juma Chitembwe, Judge of the High Court of Kenya.
“President William Ruto Tuesday received the findings of the tribunal that was formed to investigate the conduct of suspended High Court Judge Said Juma Chitembwe.” Said State House
The tribunal which was formed on 18th May 2022 was to look into recommendations by the Judicial Service Commission to remove the Judge and look into allegations of breach of code of conduct as prescribed to judges of superior courts and gross misconduct.

“The tribunal unanimously found judge Chitembwe breached the Constitution while discharging his duties,” said Justice Ngugi.
According to the tribunal investigations, they hereby recommend the dismissal of Judge Said Juma Chitembwe thus rendering the next course of action to come from President William Ruto who has received the report.
