Sakaja accuses President Uhuru of intimidation

A new twist has developed as Senator Johnson Sakaja now accuses President Uhuru Kenyatta of intimidation.

The super Senator noted that it is the people of Nairobi who will decide and that he will not be cowed by threats from the Head of State.

“H.E. Uhuru, your attempts to sneak in your project through intimidation of institutions will not work. The people of Nairobi will decide. We will not be cowed. We will prevail.

I will be on the Ballot on 9th Aug 2022. We will not be cowed by the threats, coercion and intimidation by President Uhuru Kenyatta and the State.” Said Sakaja

Through a statement, Sakaja noted that he had initially been cleared by the Commission of University(CUE) as they responded to a letter from the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC).

It is after the clearance the Head of State is accused of using the Kenya High Commission in Uganda to threaten Teams University in Uganda to denounce his qualification something that the Senator says failed miserable.

According to Sakaja, it was CUE who fell for the threats thus revoking his earlier statement even without holding a meeting.

The same sentiments were shared by Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi who promised that they will stay firm and ensure that justice prevails for fellow Kenya Kwanza member Johnson Sakaja.

“Uhuru Kenyatta is pushing Sakaja Johnson to the wall. He personally made a call to someone in Uganda of which I will soon disclose. Regardless of these schemes we know that the court will serve justice to Sakaja. IEBC should stand firm in its grounds and maintain status quo.” Said Sudi
