Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal released,bail paid

Samburu Governor Moses LenolKulal has been released from remand after paying Ksh 10 million cash bail.

The Samburu Governor was initially required to pay a cash bail Ksh 100 million which he requested for a review on Wednesday.

The High Court slashed the bail amount from Ksh 150 million to Ksh 30 Million with a surerity of the same amount.

In his ruling Justice Ngugi cited the bail amount set by Anti-corruption Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti was in excess.
