Education CS George Magoho has on Friday taken his school crackdown to Mombasa following the Precious Talent Primary tragedy.
CS Magoho was on Friday morning in Migadini, Mombasa where he did impromptu visit in one private school in a continued school crackdown.
Greenfield Primary school which is built with residential houses was found to lack the necessary approvals for operations.
At the time of the visit, the school administrator is said to have been absent at that time.
On Wednesday the education CS ordered all schools possing as a danger to the safety of students to be closed.
He said all the affected students will be relocated to safer learning institutions.
The Precious Talent tragedy aslo saw Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko suspend sixteen county officials.
Among those suspended were CEC Charles Kerich in-charge of Finance and Economic planning and Mohammed Daganne in charge of health.
The move by Hon. Sonko was to uproot cartels in the county who he claimed he had inherited from the previous administration.
The Monday morning incident saw PM Raila Odinga promised immediate action to find the root cause.
Deputy President William Ruto also promised swift action by the government in a disaster that claimed the lives of eight pupils.
