Security has been beefed up in Nairobi ahead of Governor Sonko day in court.

In a picture shared by blogger Robert Alai, a water canon could be seen moving around the city ahead of the big day tommorrow.

The move by police follows the dramatic arrest of the Governor at Ikanga airstrip in Voi county.

Sonko’s arrest follows an arrest order issued by DPP Noordin Hajji over graft allegations.

His arrest was full of drama as he was accused of fighting the police before he was flown in chopper to Wilson airport.

Several others are being sought after and will be charged alongside the Governor for the alleged plunder of Ksh 327 million.
