Siaya: panic as priest tests positive for coronavirus

Panic has gripped Siaya County after a priest who traveled from Rome tested positive for coronavirus.

In a report compiled by the Star, the priest is reported to have attended the burial at his home in Ugunja Nyasada area.

The incident has since been confirmed by county commissioner Michael Ole Tialal who said health officers are on the matter.

Confirming the same issue was blogger Robert Alai who sympathized with the situation if by any chance some had contracted the virus.

Italy is on the spot and the hardest country in terms of infections and deaths.

This is due to the fact that it has the highest number of old people who are overwhelmed by the aggressiveness of the virus.

Cities have been locked down as the government tries to curb the virus from spreading further.

Sporting events in the country have also been postponed as several players coming out positive after contracting the virus.

The latest player on the list was Juventus Striker Paulo Dybala who tested positive together with his girlfriend.
