Siaya quack doctor kills patient before fleeing

A quack doctor from Gem sub-County, Siaya County is said to have killed a patient before fleeing.

Mark Anthony Olocho the quack doctor is said to have administered an injection to 32-year-old Ngesa Odula who is said to have collapsed and died immediately.

The Monday incident started out when the late Ngesa was sent to buy some drugs after falling ill and seeking medical attention at a nearby medical center.

Ngesa is said to have made a trip to the quack doctor’s clinic to look for the drugs only to be convinced that the injection is an alternative.

Upon realizing his mistake, Mark Anthony said he was going to get a car for the patient only to flee and he never returned back.

A manhunt for the quack doctor has been launched as Siaya County has been urged to begin a crackdown of such doctors.
