Detectives based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have nabbed a Singaporean with 4kh heroin worth Ksh 12 million.
The suspect identified as 57-year-old Rahmat Mohd Noor is reported to have been heading back home through Dubai when his luggage was intercepted at the airport just before he could depart the country.

Concealed in yellowish polythene paper, the detectives quickly realized the content inside it was indeed heroin before arresting the suspect pending further investigations.
Once the investigation is complete, the suspect will be arraigned in court to answer to drug related charges.
This is not the first time such drugs have been confiscated at the busy airport as Kenya still stand as one of the avenues used by smugglers to conduct their illegal businesses.
