Six people are feared dead as a boat capsizes at Lake Victoria on Friday night ferrying the people from one island to another.
The six are reported to be in company of seven others who survived and were taken in for treatment.

According to sources, the occupants of the boat were traders coming from Sigulu Island located in Uganda heading to Marenga Omena beach situated in Busia County.
The cause is not yet known with the police confirming that the seven were rescued by fishermen who were on duty that night.
Search of the bodies of the six is ongoing with the seven survivors comprising of six women and one man.
Some of the residents at Busia County narrated how the incident happened some few meters from the shores as they found some of the belongings floating.
They continued by revealing how the boat was overloaded at the time and that its engine had come off and drowned.
