Detectives have arrested a 28-year old man a prime suspect in the gruesome death of his death in Barnabas area of Nakuru County.
The arrest follows that of three others that is his mother, brother and sister who are in custody for the death of Mr. Charles Thairu Kinyanjui.
28-year-old Charles Kinyanjui surrendered to the police where he was interrogated before leading the detectives to Ndimu Ndege where the murder weapons and burnt clothes were recovered.

“Following the gruesome Murder of the late Mr. Charles Thairu Kinyanjui on 8th Sept 2020 at Barnabas area in Nakuru where three suspects; his wife, son and daughter have been in custody, the prime suspect 28-yr-old Sospeter Kinyanjui Thairu who is the deceased’s eldest son
Upon his surrender and interrogations, detectives proceeded to Ndimu Ndege area within Bahati sub-county in Nakuru where the suspect disposed the murder weapons & burned his bloodstained clothes.” Said DCI.
Other items including bloodstained iron file, two metal rods, cash savings and several syringes were recovered in the process.
“Several exhibits were recovered including two metal rods, a bloodstained iron file, remains of burnt clothes, several syringes and a cash savings tin. Suspect booked in cells as further investigations continue.”Said DCI
