Sonko awarded International Police Association-Kenya award

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has on Wednesday received the prestigious international police-association award and honorary membership.

The award and membership follow Governor Sonko’s efforts in combating crime in Nairobi by putting measures to reduce crime.

The measures include rehabilitating reformed criminals and hiring them in beatification programme.

“Received the prestigious International Police Association-Kenya award & honorary membership for our efforts in combating crime. My admin has put in place measures to reduce crime in Nairobi including rehabilitating reformed criminals & hiring them in our beautification programme” Said Governor Mike Sonko.

Governor Sonko ranked highest in Kenyan news

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been ranked the county leader with the most coverage in Kenyan Music.

In results revealed by TIFA a research company, Governoe Sonko was top with 28 percent followed by Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.

Taking the third, fourth and fifth spots were Governor Okoth Obado (Migori), Hassan Joho (Mombasa) and Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga) with 11,10 and 8 percent respectively.

Predidnt Uhuru Kenyatta emerged first as the most influential personalities with 20 percent followed by DP William Ruto with 13 percent.

In third place was ODM leader Hon. Raila Odinga with 8 percent.

The least influential personalities included former Inspector Genral Joseph Boinet followed by Migori Governor Okoth Obado, COTU secretary Francis Atwoli and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.

DP William Ruto led when it came to coverage in politics with 27 percent followed by Predint Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga was third with 18 percent.

Dr. Fred Matiang’I led in crime theme with 27 percent followed by President Uhuru Kenyatta with 9 percent and in third place was Governor Okoth Obado with 8 percent.

DPP Noordin Hajji came third with 7 percent followed by Hon. Raila Odinga with 6 percent.
