Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has on Thursday offered to carter transport of Kakamega man who cycled to Kabarak.
76-year old Nathan Ambani cycled for four days from Butere to attend the burial of former President Daniel Moi.
Governor Sonko admitted to having been touched by the story and the love he had for the late Mzee Moi.

He continued by noting how he lacked the money to carter for his accommodation but would rather spend nights on verandahs.
“I note that as he did not have any money for a hotel room, he would sleep on verandahs and then resume safari the next day.
I can’t imagine how this “self-made peace ambassador for Kenya” will make his way to his home back in Butere.”
It is due to those reasons that the Nairobi Governor asked around if anyone has contacts do that he can help him travel back home in style.
“If anyone has Mzee Ambuti’s contacts, please share we see how we can make the return trip easier for this gallant patriotic Kenyan. Thanks”
