South Sudan President Salva Kiir arrives in Kenya

South Sudan President Salva Kiir has arrived in Kenya aheadof a two day state visit.

President Salva Kiir was welcomed by President Uhuru Kenyattaat State House where he was also honoured with a 21-gun salute.

“H.E. President SalvaKiir Mayardit was honoured with a 21-gun salute upon arrival at State House,Nairobi before inspecting a guard of honour mounted by the Kenya Army.Said State House.

The two Presidents will discuss various issues of mutual interest and benefit of the two countries during the state visit.

“The President of theRepublic of South Sudan H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit arrives at State House,Nairobi for an official State Visit. President Kiir and President Kenyatta willdiscuss various issues of mutual interest and benefit to the two countries”

Also in the discussionwill be the consolidation of the mutually beneficial cooperation between thetwo countries at bilateral and multilateral levels.

“The State Visit to Kenya by the President of the Republic of South Sudan H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit will consolidate the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries at bilateral and multilateral levels.” Said State House.

Peace in South Sudan has been an agenda President Uhuru Kenyatta who has been at the forefront of finding a lasting solution.
