South Sudan President Salva Kiir has arrived in Kenya ahead of a two day state visit.
President Salva Kiir was welcomed by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House where he was also honoured with a 21-gun salute.
“H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit was honoured with a 21-gun salute upon arrival at State House, Nairobi before inspecting a guard of honour mounted by the Kenya Army. Said State House.
The two Presidents will discuss various issues of mutual interest and benefit of the two countries during the state visit.

“The President of the Republic of South Sudan H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit arrives at State House, Nairobi for an official State Visit. President Kiir and President Kenyatta will discuss various issues of mutual interest and benefit to the two countries”
Also in the discussion will be the consolidation of the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries at bilateral and multilateral levels.
“The State Visit to Kenya by the President of the Republic of South Sudan H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit will consolidate the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries at bilateral and multilateral levels.” Said State House.

Peace in South Sudan has been an agenda President Uhuru Kenyatta who has been at the forefront of finding a lasting solution.
