Over 207 people are feared dead in Sri Lanka as 450 others sustained injuries following eight explosions that targeted churches and hotels.
The Easter incident saw the explosion of three churches in in Negombo, Batticaloa and Colombo’s Kochchikade district.
Social media networks have been temporarily blocked and a national curfew put in place until further notice.
27 foreign nationals are among the dead as reported by the foreign ministry as seven people have been arrested shortly after the incident.

Sri Lanka defense minister said the attacks could have been carried out by one group.
A resident of Sri Lanka said that from the look of things two of the hotels seemed to have targeted as they were fully parked during the explosion.
The first explosion is sad to have happened at 8:45 local time as six others followed shortly at close churches and luxury hotels.
