State House Nairobi has been placed under total lock down following the spreed of COVID-19 that has not spared it either as revealed by Dennis Itumbi.
In a series of tweets, Itumbi said that the no one is allowed to leave or enter except the over 200 staffs who live within.
“State House is on complete Lockdown due to COVID19 – no leaving & no entrance to everyone. Including the Newbee MutahiNgunyi. All locked out. Only the over 200 people who live there are present. The rest Mkae huko nje. To avoid bringing the Virus to the House on the Hill.”

The scare is reported to have caused several staff to be dispatched to work from different places.
“As a result, staff have been scattered in different offices, State House Comptroller and Head of Public Service have been dispatched to Office of the President at Harambee House. That is now their operation base.”
Staff under the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSU) have been ordered to work from home while those on duty will work from Kenya Broadcasting Communication(KBC).
“Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) staff generally have orders to stay at home, but those on duty have been instructed to report to duty at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) – Where a PSCU office exists from Moi days.”
Accountants and admitration will now work from NHIF as the President himself is reported to have been locked at State House Lodges.
“Staff such as Accountants and administration have been dispatched to NHIF. Where they are working from.The President on his part has spent some time in one of the State House Lodges.” Said Itumbi
