In August Abdalla Hamdok was named in the new government following the ouster of Omar al-Bashir.
His key agenda has been to transform the country’s economy thanks to his previous position in the UN as an economist.
Reports indicate that the PM was being targeted from above as his convoy was passing by Kober Bridge.
His security was forced to take him into a safe place as investigations kick-off.
