Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori has passed away following a battle with cancer.
The ODM legislator died while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa where he had been admitted.
Confirming his death was his political party ODM which described the MP as a dedicated leader who served the people selflessly.

“We are saddened by the death of our Member and MP for Msambweni Hon. Suleiman Dori early this morning.
Cancer has once again robbed Kenya a dedicated leader who served his people selflessly.
To the people of Msambweni, Kwale County & the Coast region, poleni sana. “
ODM party went ahead to confirm his burial ceremony which is scheduled Today, Monday 9th March 2020.
“Msambweni MP Hon Ramadhan Suleiman Dori who passed on early today will be buried today (Monday 9th March 2020) at 4 pm at his home village of Gasi, in Msambweni Constituency, Kwale County.”
Leaders from all political divides sent their messages of condolences led by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The former Prime Minister prayed that his family may get comfort during this difficult period.
